Welcome to Ajloun Cable Car project, the tourism project that was established in Ajloun under the sponsorship of the Jordan Free and Developmental Zones Company with the higher international standards , the tender was sit on the Austrian company “Doppelmayr/Garaventa Group” in 2020 at a total cost of approximately 11 million Jordanian dinars. After three years of the ongoing efforts , the Cable Car project has lunched in June 2023 with a path of 2.5 Kilometer for the trip in each direction between the two stations, the visitors main station located near Ajloun Castle and Eshtafina station. The round trip takes about 20 minutes. The cable car currently includes 40 cabins, each of which can fit 8 passengers, within an integrated system to suit all ages, the elderly, and people with special needs, as safe paths for wheelchairs are available to facilitate the experience for everyone. The Ajloun cable car is regarded as one of the area's tourist attractions since it offers visitors a unique chance to take in the breathtaking scenery of the hills and mountains that surround the city of Ajloun and the charming views that help to escape from the Bustling city style.
