Considers as Jordan's oldest historical mosque, second only to Amman's Al-Hussini Mosque. This mosque, which is situated in the center of Ajloun, North Jordan, was constructed during the Mamluk and Ayyubid eras and was most recently maintained during King Abdallah II bin Al-Hussin's reign.
The Mosque was recently restored during the reign of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein. is shaped like a rectangle from east to west, measuring roughly 600 square meters in area, 30 meters in length, and 20 meters in width. On the east side, it features three main gates that open onto a courtyard with access to ablution places and a contemporary women's prayer room. Within the mosque, there are three retreats on the northern façade that are used for those in seclusion in particular. They might also be Sharia schools in the shape of old bookshops or locations for reading the Qur'an.
